Rhiannon and Andrew prep Harlequin for the first launch of the day.


2 minutes later a Hawk trainer jet comes screaming over head... not within our range... honest...
The launch is aborted and we wait for the skies to clear, so that we don't appear to be terrorists
trying to shoot down planes!


Angelos does some last minute checks to the rocket.


Harlequin blasts off, powered by a single D motor.



Its parachute deploys, in what becomes a text book launch.

It floats gently to the ground.

Reesy and Angelos prep Cloud Chaser, and strap the legoman pilot in.



Cloud Chaser ignites its single D engine.

Mr Octan, returns Cloud Chaser safely to Earth


The Orian, flying again on Dartmoor. This trusty rocket always flies well and is no
stranger to Dartmoor.


The Orian accelerates rapidly away from the pad.


A slight twist after leaving the pad means it won't reach its maximum altitude, but
the rocket continues in a near perfect climb.


The Orian reaches just over 1000ft. It is just visible here if you follow the
smoke trail from its single D engine.


The Orian deploys its parachute and begins its desent to Earth.
