The Executioner-standing 1cm short of 1m tall, is a very impressive rocket.
Owned by Rocket Officer Helen Ellis, this rocket is shown here on its 1st flight.
Reesy puts the final touches to the detonator cord, notice the web camera
on the bottom right, put there to capture the rocket as it leaves the pad..jpg)
The Purple Rocket - One of the smallest rockets ever to be launched in Keynes
it had the crazy design of reverse firing parachutes.
Would it work??.jpg)
Angelos, wraps up warm and braves the cold of winter in Canterbury.jpg)
Yes, it was its first and last flight. Reverse firing parachutes just don't work.
The Commanche, on a 2 stage launch. Single D and C motors propel
this rocket nearly 3/4 mile upwards.
The first D motor kicks in!
The Outlander- This rocket all though looks cool, had a a habit of flying sideways! Flying here on a single
C and yes its flying side ways (the image has been rotated!)
The Oroin (yep it was meant to be the orion, but a spelling mistake meant it is now the Oroin).
A non kit rocket, fins from a CD case, body from a Christmas paper wrapping tube and nose cone from an
old rocket. This rocket flies to 1000ft on a single D motor then returns via a parachute.
The Alex 1. Launced here on a single D motor, after a good first launch it
proceeded to land in some trees, however it was recovered.
