3.50 am 1st February 2006. Space Soc begin their huge adventure to Amsterdam, shown here in Stanstead car park!
Lots of coke cola and coffee keep everyone awake and smiling!
Rich has his first coffee of the day, after not getting any sleep for 24 hours!
Its the plane! Yet who would have guessed that we would have spent an extra 2 hours on it due to back weather in
Holland.
The group look at the ATV (automated transit vehicle) in ESTEC. The ATV will deliver supplies to the
international space station.
Space Soc after an amazing day inside ESTEC, even with a severe lack of sleep everyone is happy, as now we are off to Amsterdam!!
Jas finds a giant sign! ....They don't have signs in Cornwall
A Russian re-entry vehicle, recovered from eastern Russia and brought to ESTEC.
Space Soc in the International Space Station Lab, (no not the real one, we can't afford Space Tourism quite yet).
Guiseppe finds a chocolate machine!!
I'm not sure what is going on here, I think its some kind of payoff and they are trying to cover it up by fake laughing.
The question is whats the payoff for and who's paying who??
Ian provides further evidence of some kind of payoff, using his demon red eyes to scare away the camera.
Kai tried to get out of the deal, but failed and as a punishment was forced to wear a paper back on his hand.
Marc tries to explain, relative time dilation in a compressed space using a martini shaker.......hmmmm I can see
where he is coming from martini's do make time go faster or is it slower....
Its Jas!!
"I'm not lost I know exactly where we are......we are in the middle of no where with no tram!"
Ian and Kai demonstrate that before you fly you should always eat ice cream. Why we are not sure, we suspect it
might be because it tastes good.
